ANNOUNCEMENTS:      04/13/17 A DAY


Attention Seniors:  Sullivan Community Council (SCC) is awarding monetary scholarships to at least one deserving senior male and female who has been actively involved in SCC programs over the past 5 years.  Scholarship applications can be picked up in the counseling center and must be submitted by May 5.  See Mrs. Smith in room 224 with questions.
  
Seniors who have signed up for the Darien Lake trip need to see Ms. Johnson today for bus transportation.
 
Congratulations to the Library Logo Contest winner --- Elliott O'Conell! His award winning logo will appear on the library website and throughout the library. Thank you Elliott for the hard work and thought you put into your excellent graphic design. 
 
 
Attention Seniors: Applications for The Colleen Hyland Memorial Scholarship are now available. To apply you must be a graduating senior pursuing a college degree in education, history, or political science. You can pick up an application in the counseling center. Completed applications must be returned to Mr. Hayden by Friday, April 28.

 
Spanish Honor Society Members: The induction rehearsal will be held in the auditorium 10th period today, Attendance is required.
  
Attention all of those interested in performing in this year's Talent Show.  LISTEN UP, TALENT SHOW PERFORMERS - I'M TALKING TO YOU!!! The date for auditions has been scheduled.  On Tuesday, May 9 at 2:30pm, bring your talent to learn your fate!!!  All proceeds from this year's Humanities-sponsored event will benefit the Make A Wish Foundation.  Sign-up forms will be posted outside of Mr. Cashman's room after break.  We want students and we want teachers and we want variety.  Start practicing those skills!!
 
 
The Library would like to thank everyone involved in making the Library Worker's Day celebration so special and memorable. We thank every student that uses the library, participated in the video and the outstanding Bear Den video crew! You guys are the best. We also want to send a special shout out to Mr. Sylstra, for orchestrating the occasion, bringing in a guest speaker and making us feel so honored. We feel very fortunate to work with great students and a fantastic  group of colleagues. It is a day that we will remember for a very long time. Thank you!

Senior Varsity athletes both boys and girls please stop by the athletic office to see Ms. De Costy to go over your varsity sports participation.  This will be the last week to get this done.
 
Congratulations to the boys varsity tennis team for their 5-0 victory over Bishop Grimes yesterday!  The boys will travel to MPH today, Go Bears!!
