Get ready to RUMBLE! Game Night 3.2 is this tonight from 3 - 7 pm. Bring your game face,  wear your gamer t-shirt, $1 for admission and extra money for snacks. At 6pm you’ll find out where our April field trip will be held and it promises to make you WONDER (hint, hint). ?

Attention all musicians planning on going to NYSSMA - your money is due to your teacher today.

Are you considering entering the Writer’s Chair contest but feeling a bit frustrated? Have you entered in the past and haven’t won? Consider this advice from legendary rock poet Patti Smith.

I’ve done records that no one listened to, written poetry that maybe 50 people read, but you know what, you just keep doing your work because you have to, because it’s your calling. To be an artist is difficult but the more people you can touch the more wonderful it is. You want everyone to be transported, to be inspired. It’s beautiful to be embraced by people.

So go, be an artist, inspire someone today and enter the Writer’s Chair Contest!

If there’s one thing we’ve all learned about writing, it’s that you should make your writing the best it can be. Don’t settle for, “well my mom liked my first draft”. Revise and rewrite. Edit your work and share it with friends and teachers. Get your entry for the Writer’s Chair contest in by Friday March 31. For more information check out chslibrary.info or see Mrs. Klucznik.

Did you know that Science Department offers a free ACT prep course ? Plan ahead and make time Wednesday April 5th for a two hour session that covers the basics of the ACT and specific work on the Science Portion of the test.  No need to sign up in advance, see your science teacher for more information.
