The Colleen Hyland Memorial Scholarship

Must be a 2025 graduating senior pursuing a degree in education, history or political science. 

To apply you will need to fill out the "applicant information sheet". Complete an essay that answers ONE of the following questions and attach it to the applicant information sheet:

1. Teachers are educators as well as mentors to their students. How will you as a teacher inspire your students and shape their character in ways that affect their lives beyond the classroom?

2. Life can sometimes be challenging and difficult. Explain how a challenging situation you've had has taught you an important life lesson or changed you in some way for the better.

Return the application and essay to Mr Hayden in the counseling office BY THE END OF THE DAY MAY 2, 2025.
