B Day





  • 7th and 8th grade boys interested in playing lacrosse:  Please attend an informational meeting TODAY, Monday, March 19th, 10th period in the cafeteria. This has been rescheduled from today.
  • Drama Club:  Today during 10th period, we will be setting up the equipment for the sounds and lights.  Please stay 10th period if you will be assisting during the play with sound and lights.
  • Chamber orchestra rehearses on Wednesday, March 21st during 10th period.
  • There will be a meeting for all boys and girls interested in track Wednesday the 21st 10th period in room 214.  Sign up with Mrs. Scheidelman in room 214.
  • Attention 7th and 8th graders:  If you are interested in participating in softball, track, baseball or lacrosse a current physical is needed.  Please check with the nurse by Wednesday, March 21st to make sure you have a current physical.  Physicals will be held on Friday, March 23rd.
  • Do you enjoy playing board games?  If so, you should come to the library's board game night on Friday, March 23rd.  The board game night begins during 10th period and ends at 5:00pm.  Permission slips can be found on our website's Clubs and Events page.
  • National World Language Week will be celebrated from March 19-23 at Chittenango middle school this year and we'll be celebrating in several activities including a candy count, a daily trivia contest and Spanish and French students flipping their classes.  The candy count and daily trivia contest are open to everyone in grade 5-8.  Listen each day to the announcements for details.

Parent Notes and Reminders:

Parents, please drop students off by the cafeteria in the morning, not in front of the building.

•During morning arrival please note that all students not riding the bus to school must be dropped off in the designated area near the cafeteria, not in the front of the building for safety reasons.  Parents should not drop off students before 7:15 a.m. as there is no supervision in the building.
•Our fax number is 687-2801
•If your child stays 10th period; parents please review late bus numbers with your child so they know what bus to ride.  This information can be obtained by calling Transportation at 687-2615.
•Bus Passes:  If your child needs to ride a bus other than their normal bus, a request in writing is required with your child’s destination and the bus number to be taken.  Please remember to date your request and remind your child to drop it off in the office before school begins so that a bus pass can be issued.
•Please call attendance at 687-2803 when your child is absent from school.
•The lost and found is located in our cafeteria.  Please have your child check there if they are missing items.
•All donations of Box Top$ for Education are gladly accepted.  Please place them in the box outside the Library Media Center.  Our Middle School receives 10 cents for every box top we collect.  Thank you in advance for bringing in any Box Top$ for Education you can find.
